Expanding or Reducing Column and Row Widths

Sometimes it is desirable to expand the width of a column so that you can see a longer heading or a bigger number, or to reduce the width to reflect a smaller number. To accomplish this, click and hold the left mouse button at the very top of the column between the two column letters on the line separating the column you want to expand and the column next to it. This should result in a set of "crossed arrows," which you can move left or right to expand or reduce the width of the column by the amount you want. The same procedure can be followed to expand row widths.
