Figure 21-1 shows the most important landmarks of the NetMeeting window. At the top of the window is the Address bar. Like the Address bar in Internet Explorer, use it to type the address of the person you want to call or select from a list of previous connections. You can enter an e-mail address, a computer name, or an IP address. The three buttons down the right side of the window allow you to make and terminate calls.
The box with the NetMeeting logo is where you will see the video of the people you call, assuming they have a camera connected to their computer.
The three buttons across the middle of the window are for audio and video control. The Name box lists people to whom you are currently connected. Finally, the buttons across the bottom provide other ways to share information, including sharing programs, chat, the whiteboard, and transferring files.
