Maintaining a blog does not required much knowledge of HTML, but a little knowledge goes a long way. With this knowledge, you can break free of the limitations placed on you when using a WYSIWYG post editor, and truly customize your blog posts. Speaking of customization, you can also use new-found HTML skills to modify your overall Blogger template so that it is more to your likingalthough a totally new customization requires a combination of HTML knowledge and an understanding of CSS, which you might find in Appendix B, "CSS Fundamentals."
