For better or worse, the Photo Rankings feature lets you rate the attractiveness or coolness of other people's photos. You or your teen can choose to submit themor not. Ranking is on a scale of 1 to 10.
Adding your image to the rating system will allow other users to view and rate your image. Keep in mind that a person does not need to be your friend to comment.
To submit a photo for ranking:
To see what people think about your pic, go to your MySpace home page, and click the Ranking Score button.
Your Ranking Score is private and for your eyes only, though as mentioned earlier in this chapter, if you submit a picture, anyone can rank it.

MySpace isn't the first site to include photo ratings. A lot of teenagers go to RateMe.com or HotorNot.com, among many other sites to submit their photos and be rated. While some teens might enjoy positive rankings, others could wind up feeling humiliated. Talk with your teen about whether or not you think it's a good idea to submit pictures for ranking and how you feel about their rating other people's pictures.
