Previewing Your Web Pages

You can preview your Web pages in the Internet Explorer Web browser as you work on them. This enables you to get a Web-based view of how your pages are turning out. In the Internet Explorer window, you can also check out any hyperlinks that you've placed on your Web page.

To preview your Web page in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

  1. Select File , Web Page Preview . Microsoft Internet Explorer opens with your Web page in its window.

  2. Test your hyperlinks and other command elements as needed.

  3. When you have finished viewing your Web page in Internet Explorer, click the Close ( X ) button on the upper-right corner of the window. You return to the Word window and your document.

Creating Web pages in Word can be quite easy (and very satisfying ) because you are working in an environment that you use to create a variety of other, more "typical" documents.
