Watermarks can be used in a variety of diverse and flexible ways, as the previous sections have outlined. A watermark's diversity does not end simply with perceptibility, however. Robustness is another dimension of watermarking as well as the techniques used to embed a watermark. In this spectrum of diversity a watermark carries data and the forms of that data.
