This appendix is for people who want to be as proficient as possible in their use of Firefox. You'll see how to use keyboard and mouse shortcuts instead of menu commands. (Some of these things can't even be done through the menus, so you're getting some inside stuff here!) The keyboard shortcuts are broken out by operating system and include keyboard shortcuts for Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera. (Netscape Navigator keyboard shortcuts are the same as in Firefox.) When you see a command such as Ctrl+B or Shift+Backspace, it means that you should press and hold down the first key in the combination and then press the second key. Ctrl is the Control key on Windows and Linux computers. Cmd is the Command key on Macintosh computers. |
