Downloading the Code

Since Burlap is designed to be used with Resin as well as independently, Caucho has made it available as a separate download from the Resin servers. You can obtain the binary, source, and test JARs at www.caucho.com/burlap/index.xtp. As of this writing, the most current version is 2.1.6. The Caucho team is currently in the process of combining the Hessian and Burlap classes into a single download. You will see the download currently listed as a Hessian download, but this is expected to change in the near future.

Installing the protocol is simple. Download the JAR file named burlap-2.1.6.jar (or the latest version) and place it in your Java classpath.
