Now that you know the basics of running Word, this chapter focuses on the content of a Word document—that is, the characters, words, sentences, and paragraphs that compose a document. You'll learn about the many ways to add, edit, find, and navigate through document text. The next chapter focuses on the format of a Word document—that is, the appearance of the characters and paragraphs. These two topics are treated separately to make your learning task easier, not to imply that you must finish editing the entire document before you begin formatting it. Typically, you'll use formatting techniques as you are entering and editing the text.
