Customizing the Toolbar

Like many other Mac OS X applications, Keynote allows you to customize its toolbar, which lets you put the tools you use often within easy reach.

To customize the Toolbar

1.	With a Keynote document open , choose View > Customize Toolbar. The Customize Toolbar sheet slides down from the Toolbar ( Figure 1.17 ). Figure 1.17. Use the Customize Toolbar sheet to arrange your Toolbar as you like it.
2.	Drag the item or items that you want from the Customize Toolbar sheet into the Toolbar. or Drag items off the Toolbar and release the mouse button; the item will disappear in a puff of animated smoke. or Drag the default tool set into the Toolbar. or Use the Show pop-up menu to choose between showing icons and text in the Toolbar, just icons, or just text. or Click the Use Small Size check box to make the toolbar icons take up less space.
3.	Click Done.
