Step 8b: Install SP2 from the Internet

If you forgot to order the free Service Pack 2 CD or you can't be bothered because you've wasted too much time already, you have to connect to the Internet now.

It's not ideal because you're connecting a computer that is not yet secure to the Internet. That said, I'll talk you through the process anyway. You have to do a little jumping around here to prepare:

1.	First, skip ahead to "Step 11: Configure Your Networking" to make sure you're ready to connect to the Internet.
2.	Go to "Step 12: Update Windows with All Recent Security Patches" and download all relevant updates from Windows Update, repeating Step 12 as many times as necessary to get to the SP2 download.
3.	When the SP2 installation process begins, hop back to Step 8 to finish the SP2 installation.
