Electronic forms are templates that allow you to create items of special types. Outlook 2000 provides a set of standard forms that can be customized using Outlook Forms Designer. You can create send forms and post forms. Send forms are used to transmit specially formatted e-mail messages. Post forms allow you to place new items in mailbox and public folders or work with existing articles.
Send forms are typically published across the entire organization by means of an OFL. Post forms, due to their nature, are best published in FFLs in other words, in public folders. During the development stage, it is a good idea to keep send and post forms in individual forms libraries, such as the PFL (for send forms), the FFL, or a mailbox folder. It is also possible to maintain post forms in personal folders in a .pst file. To install Outlook forms you need to use Outlook.
