A well-organized Web page provides users with a good browsing experience and makes it easy for them to find the information they want. Tables and frames are valuable tools for organizing information. With tables, you can subdivide parts of a Web page into regions and place different types of content in each region. You'll find that tables are useful for a variety of tasks, from presenting data in columns and rows to precisely positioning items on a page.

Frames allow a browser to display multiple HTML files on the screen at the same time, each in its own defined area. When you use frames, you can keep a file visible in one location in the window while changing the files being displayed in other locations. This capability can be helpful when you are building a Web site in which you want one page, such as a banner or an index, to remain visible while another part of the screen displays different or changing information.
