Adding Special Symbols

To add special symbols to your text, such as a copyright, trademark, or an em dash, you must use key combinations for the computer platform you are using. On a PC you type the keycode into the keypad of your keyboard.

Table 18-1 shows the key combinations for commonly used characters.
