You’ve come a long way in this chapter, Alfie (or Austin) baby! We’re way beyond the preliminaries now, doing cool and fun things. In this chapter, you learned how to program a real, live computer game that evaluates user input, relies on random number generation, and does much more. You also learned how to use a number of different kinds of conditional statements.

I think you’ll agree that this is great stuff—lots of fun and useful. Keep it up and you might get hooked on programming!

In Chapter 4, “ Working with Loops,” we’ll move on to another important topic: looping and iteration.
