External System Synchronization

If your organization has partners that use GroupWise, you might want to synchronize your address books with theirs. This synchronization must be set up on both sides, and requires you to choose a single domain on the external system as your point-of-contact.

When configured correctly, external system synchronization is a powerful collaborative tool. Users in your organization will see members of the external system as entries in the Novell GroupWise address book and can communicate and share with those users just as they do with users on their home system. The process of defining an external system, and then synchronizing with that external system, is fully explained in Chapter 15, "Administering Multiple GroupWise Systems."
