Selecting Ranges of Cells

You can use your mouse to select a range of cells for editing, or you can use these keyboard shortcuts.

To select this	Do this
The entire worksheet	Press Ctrl+A
The current selection by one cell	Press Shift+arrow key
The current selection to the end of a row	Press Ctrl+Shift+right arrow
The current selection to the end of a column	Press Ctrl+Shift+down arrow
The current selection to the last used worksheet cell	Press Ctrl+Shift+End
The current selection to cell A1	Press Ctrl+Shift+Home
An entire column	Press Ctrl+Spacebar
An entire row	Press Shift+Spacebar
The current selection to the beginning of a row	Press Shift+Home
