Introduction
This book is for anybody who wants to move into the world of dynamic web publishing. It assumes no prior knowledge of ColdFusion MX or any other web development language other than HTML.
To get the most out of this book, you should have the following:
A good working knowledge of HTML
Knowledge of how to edit HTML code with a text editor, such as Macromedia Homesite or Notepad
A basic understanding of the function of a web server
Additionally, a basic understanding of database functionality and a basic knowledge of a scripting language, such as JavaScript or Flash ActionScript, would be helpful but are not necessary.
