Most people who design for the web work with many different vector applications. One of the most popular ones is Adobe Illustrator, so it only makes sense that I would give you a tip on how best to import your Illustrator art into Flash.

There are several ways to accomplish this, but the best way is to export your art directly from Illustrator as a SWF file (Illustrator 9 or later) and then import that SWF file into Flash. This method provides the most consistent and accurate translation of artwork between the two programs.

If you're using Illustrator 8, you can still export directly to an SWF, but you'll need to download the Flash Writer plug-in for Illustrator, which is available at www.macromedia.com/software/flash/download/flashwriter/.
