OSS Authentication

OSS requires that users must logon to the system with a valid userid or alias and a password. /bin/sh is the command interpreter used with OSS.

OSS authentication depends on the USER_AUTHENTICATE_ procedure. It will not use VERIFYUSER, as that operating system procedure does not support aliases.
