In this chapter, you learned the basics of how dynamic sites work, how to set up your workstation for online or offline development, and how to set up a dynamic site in Dreamweaver. The next two chapters look at working with dynamic content in Dreamweaver pages, as well as how to stretch your wings a little with Dreamweaver's interface for dynamic development. Most of what's covered works equally well in any of the server technologies that Dreamweaver supports. If you're curious about the possibilities of the specific languages, check out Chapters 24, 25, and 26, which cover ColdFusion, PHP, and ASP.NET.
