CREATING SMART MAILBOXES FROM SEARCHES

If you're just dipping your toe into the world of Smart Mailboxes, try this: In Mail's Search field, search for all the mail from a particular person (or company). For example, you could do a search for all incoming mail from eBay. Enter "eBay" in the Search field, choose From in the bar below the toolbar, and then when the results appear, you'll find a Save button in the upper-right corner of your results in the main window. Click on it, and a Smart Mailbox dialog will appear, and Mail's pretty much filled out all the Smart Mailbox criteria for youso just enter a name and click OK. Now you'll have a new Smart Mailbox that contains all the email you've received from eBay, and from now on, any new email from eBay will also appear in that Smart Mailbox. Basically, you just created a Smart Mailbox from your search. Not bad, matey! (Said in my best pirate voice.)
