Part I: Getting Started

Chapter 1 explains the various installation options available with NetWare 6.5, including new server installation, server upgrade, and the new patterned deployment.

Chapter 2 explains the install and upgrade procedures for the various NetWare clients that ship with NetWare 6.5. As you will see, there is ever-less focus on the traditional Novell client in favor of new Web-friendly ways to access the network.

Chapter 3 introduces the suite of management tools used in Novell Networks. This includes the legacy ConsoleOne management tool along with a greatly improved set of Web-based management tools, including iManager, iMonitor, Novell Remote Manager (NoRM), and Web Manager.
