Conclusion

Although Chapters 10 and 11 probably got your brain racing for original component ideas and experiments, this chapter really puts the lid on everything. The ideas developed here are very important to keep imprinted on the back of your eyelids. There is nothing worse than having a terrific idea for a component and ending up with broken, unrecognizable code that does nothing but laugh at your failures.

If you are reading these lines, then you have, I hope, read through the entire book. This means you now have no excuse for not creating components full time. Convince yourself that the next time you sit down to create something in Flash, you might as well make it a component. You can build a large library of components, keep them in the Components panel, and have easy, drag-and-drop elements in no time.
