Organize Your Pins (Win)

All of the online financial accounts that you use will require a PIN in order to access them. It's not a good idea to use the same PIN for all of your accounts, because you don't want a situation where someone learns the PIN for one of your accounts, and then has access to all of them. But it can be difficult to remember different PINs for many accounts. Quicken's PIN Vault consolidates all of the PINs for the online accounts you access through Quicken, allowing you to unlock all of the accounts by entering just one password.

To set up your PIN Vault on Windows, choose Online > PIN Vault > Set Up. The PIN Vault Setup dialog appears, set to the Welcome tab, which explains what the PIN Vault does. Click the Summary tab.

Next, you'll add the PINs for each account to the Vault. You'll only have to do this once. Click to select the account number of the first account, then click Add PIN. In the resulting dialog, enter the PIN twice, then click Add. Under the PIN Stored column of the PIN Vault Setup dialog, the status will change to Yes.

Continue adding PINs for each of the remaining accounts, then click Done.
