In some ways, everything else on 7100 devices comes secondary to these primary applications. However, that doesn't mean there aren't some useful BlackBerry applications for you to take advantage of and benefit from. Whether you use a built-in application already installed on your device or you purchase and download a third-party application, there is a lot to be said for expanding your device's usefulness through helper applications. Some of the handy built-in applications you should consider using include the Alarm, MemoPad, Calculator, and Photo Album applications. You might want to look into the many third-party add-on applications available, depending on your specific needs and interests. A few popular applications I've found to be interesting include a live traffic and video surveillance monitor, an application that turns your device into a flashlight, and an electronic golf scorecard application.
