The last of our XMMS plug-ins is the one that actually lets us view the MPG that started off this chapter. smpeg-XMMS is available from the XMMS input plug-ins page at http://www.xmms.org/plugins_input.html , and is quite small. Download, configure, compile (autoconf-like).

It took 7 whole seconds to compile. We're done ! With AVI MPG, at least. We might as well get RealPlayer while we are at it. Sometimes, one will run across videos encoded in RealPlayer format.
