Blair Buchanan, CCIE #1427, is an internetwork architect who bases his consulting practice in Ottawa, Canada. For almost 30 years , Mr. Buchanan's career in data communication includes software development, standards participation, internetwork design, and education. Mr. Buchanan holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, has been a certified Cisco Systems Instructor since 1992, and earned his CCIE in 1995.

Thomas Kramer, CCIE #2662, has been working over the past seven years at Cisco Systems on IP routing and core technologies. After several years working in Brussels, he relocated recently to Mexico City, where he works in a consulting function for Cisco in the Latin American theater. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and telecommunication and is a recertified CCIE in IP routing and switching.
