Open the Format menu and select Alignment. Then click the desired alignment option from the submenu: Align Left, Center, Align Right, or Justify.
The selected text is aligned in the object box. Note in this example that each alignment option is applied separately to illustrate what the various alignment options look like.
INTRODUCTION
When you enter text into a presentation, the text automatically aligns flush (even) with the left margin. However, you can change the alignment of text at any time, before or after you have entered the text. You can center text, make it flush with the right margin, or justify it (make it flush with both margins).
TIP
Using the Formatting Toolbar
Notice that Left Align, Center, and Right Align buttons appear on PowerPoint's Formatting toolbar. If you prefer, you can click these buttons instead of using the options in the Format menu to align your text.
TIP
Justifying Text
If you select the Justify command in the Format menu, the text becomes flush left and flush right. The Justify option doesn't work on single words or sentences, only on text in a paragraph that wraps to another line.
