INTRODUCTION

You can quickly and easily apply effects to the text on your slides. Underline text or add a shadow effect to make the text look like it is in 3D. Or, apply an emboss, which looks like engraving. You can also make text superscript for example, to indicate powers of 10 as well as subscript, for indicating bases of 10.

TIP

The Font Dialog Box

The Font dialog box gives you many ways to format your text. Instead of formatting the text and then seeing what it looks like, you can click the Preview button and make changes before you click the OK button to accept the settings.

TIP

Underline and Shadow

Notice that Underline and Shadow effect buttons are available on the default Formatting toolbar.
