Actually, no, they don’t! In fact, quite the opposite! Research shows that people who are paid fairly and receive recognition ask for fewer salary increases. (Go figure, huh?) That’s because they’re not looking for a reason to stay. They’ve already found it. (And it didn’t cost you much, either.) Keep people happy and engaged and they are less likely to complain about money. It’s a fact!
