Assumptions can get you into trouble. Like assuming that employees know they are making a difference without you telling them. The truth is, they probably don’t know. And they most likely won’t. Until you tell them. And they shouldn’t have to wait until the end of their work lives to hear it. The sooner you tell them, the better.
