GIVE IT TROPHY VALUE

A recent survey shows that when an award includes a quality emblem or symbol, or features an engraved message, it gains “trophy value” that cannot be matched in any other way—not with cash, not with gift certificates, not with trips and not with merchandise alone.

The survey of 17,000 recognition award recipients showed that 74 percent of employees who receive awards featuring their corporate symbol feel the symbol enhances the meaning of their award.

An item with a logo—or an award that’s personalized—reminds the recipient that it was earned, and that it couldn’t have been purchased.
