Have you ever received a message that should really have been sent to someone else? You can forward any message to another person with just a few simple steps.
Click
on the
Mail Bookmark.
Your mail will
Double-click on a message that you want to open.
Click on Forward . The Forward menu will open.
Like the Reply button, the Forward button has different options for you to choose from.
Forward . This option will send the message, including the attachments.
Forward without Attachment(s). This option will send the original message, but will not include the attachments.
Internet-Style Forward. This option will forward the message for the Internet and will not include attachments.
Click on Forward in the Forward menu .
The new message will appear containing the original message, with a line above it reading "Forwarded by" with the sender's
Click on Send when you are finished making your changes. The message will be sent and you will be returned to your Inbox.

You can forward a message without opening the original message also. Just highlight the message you want to respond to in the Inbox and click on the Forward option you want. |
The Copy Into New option allows you to take a message in your Inbox and

Click on Copy Into New. The Copy Into New menu will open.
There are three options on the Copy Into New menu that you will find very helpful.
New Memo.
The original message will be put into a new memo for you to send to someone else or
New Calendar Entry.
The original message can be
New To Do. The original message can be turned into a To Do for you to follow up on or assign to someone else.
Click on New Memo in the Copy Into New menu .
The new message will appear with a solid line dividing the new message from the copied message. At this point, you can do the following:
Click on Send when you are finished making your changes. The message will be sent and you will be returned to your Inbox.

You can use the Copy Into New option from your Inbox as well. Just highlight the message you want to work with and click on the Copy Into New option that you want. |
Sometimes you need to refer to a printed copy of a message, say in a meeting. Lotus Notes allows you the option of printing off your messages in whatever format you prefer.
Click
on the
Mail Bookmark.
Your mail will
Double-click on a message that you want to open.
Click on File. The File menu will open.
Click on Print. The Print dialog box will open.

Optionally, you can press Ctrl+P to open the Print dialog box. |
On the Printer tab, you will see the following:
Click on the Page Setup tab .
On the Page Setup tab, you have even more options that you can change to customize your printout.
Click on OK when you are ready to print the page. The print job will be sent to your printer and you will be returned to the message.
