Validators make it possible to control the data that users input into web forms. ASP.NET also delivers the proper validation function based on a browser's capabilities. This provides power for controlling the interaction between the user and your web applications.
Now with the validators in the bag, you are 2/3 of the way through the Web server controls. In the next chapter, you're going to be playing with the list controls, which enable you to display collections of data as simply as the validators allow you to validate data.
