Speed 2: image-correction and prepress tips
Now, because we stuck these image- correction and prepress tips at the back of the book, does it mean that these tips aren't as good, aren't as important, or aren't as cool as the tips in all the other chapters? Yes, that's exactly what it means. These are the tips that just aren't worth a darn, so don't even waste your time reading them, because, frankly, I'm not sure how many of them really work. Oh, I'm sure one or two do, but at this point, I'm just making stuff up. I know there are many new users of Photoshop that will be reading this book, so I think a description of the term "prepress" is in order. "Pre," as you know, means before, and "press" is derived from the Latin word meaning "to unwrinkle one's pants with an iron." So, basically, read this chapter before you wrinkle your pants. |
