Technical Evaluation

Contrary to popular belief, women indicated that they do not find the technical environment intimidating. Seventy-one percent of respondents also do not think that women are less knowledgeable in technical environments and the majority (84 percent) do not think that women are less qualified to enter technical fields. They overwhelmingly agree (97 percent) that women need technical skills other than programming, but more than half (59 percent) feel that their organizations do not do enough to improve the technical skills of women.
