Now we'll adjust the speed of the mouse pointer itself as it moves across the screen. Moving the pointer toward Fast will make the mouse pointer move a long distance across the screen with small movements of the mouse. A faster setting is useful if you don't have a lot of desk space on which to navigate the mouse. Moving the pointer toward Slow will shorten the distance the pointer travels on screen as you move the mouse. A slower setting is useful if you feel you are overshooting objects on screen. When you have found an adjustment that feels the most comfortable, click the OK button to close the Mouse Properties window. |
