Supplemental information is provided in the six appendixes for this book.
First, Appendix A lists some implementations, software development kits, sets of test vectors, and the like for the various XML Security standards, although this will no doubt be out of date by the time this book is published. Nevertheless, it should provide a useful starting point.
Appendixes B, C, and D describe three of the several organizations involved in issuing XML Security or cryptographic standards, in particular, the W3C, IETF, and NIST.
Appendix E goes into greater depth on the difference between the paper or document point of view and the protocol or message point of view, a difference that is alluded to many times in the body of this book.
Finally, Appendix F provides the full schema for SOAP encoding.
