Lesson 6. Editing a Table's Structure
No matter how hard you work on a table's design, you might find as you design the other tables for your database that you just don't need a particular table. It's easy to delete a table (although it might not be easy to forget the time that you spent creating the table); simply follow these steps:
In the database window, click the Tables object type.
In the right pane of the database window, select the table you want to delete.
Select Edit, Delete , or press the Delete key on your keyboard.
A message appears asking whether you're sure you want to do this. Click Yes .
In this lesson, you learned how to modify your table's properties in the Design View. You also learned how to create an input mask for a field. Adding and removing fields was also covered. In the next lesson, you learn how to enter data into the table in the Datasheet view and navigate the table.
