Part 10. Fine-Tuning a Presentation

After you have created the bulk of your presentation, you can add finishing touches that affect how your presentation plays for the audience. You can use PowerPoint's Slide Sorter view to see and work with all the slides in your presentation at once.

As you preview your slide show, you might find it needs some special elements to make the presentation more interesting. For example, you can add transitions to control how one slide segues into the next . You can also choose from a variety of animation effects that control how slide objects appear on a slide. You can make your slide title text seem to crawl across the screen, or you can make a bulleted list appear one bullet at a time.

PowerPoint also includes features for creating speaker notes and audience handouts. This portion of the book tells you how to prepare your slide show for final presentation.
