Choosing Tracks to Search

One limitation of the search functionality in Digital Performer is that the Search window itself does not allow you to specify what tracks to search. The only option it gives you is to search either all sequences or the sequence that you are currently working with. The Search window selects the tracks from those that are open in the upper-most editing window. In other words, you must open an editing window with the tracks you would like to search before you open the Search window. When selecting tracks, the best editing window to use is the Sequence Editor.
