Placing Text Within

Using the Shapes menu on the toolbar, place a shape on the slide you'reworking with.

Resize the shape to your liking, and add a color, gradient, or image fill as needed.

3. |
Double-click in the middle of the shape. An insertion point will appear, centered in the shape.

Type the text you want in the shape (

).

Tip
You can make the text adjustments available to any Keynote text by selecting the text within the shape and using the options in the Text Inspector.
