Another of the many new features in Keynote 2 is the ability to place text directly within shapes you've created in Keynote. Shapes can have any kind of color , gradient, or image fill, and the text that you add will be overlaid on the fill. Text inside the shape rewraps as you resize the shape.
1. | Using the Shapes menu on the toolbar, place a shape on the slide you'reworking with. |
2. | Resize the shape to your liking, and add a color, gradient, or image fill as needed. |
3. | Double-click in the middle of the shape. An insertion point will appear, centered in the shape. |
4. | Type the text you want in the shape ( Figure 5.36 ). |
