Resources

The province is rich in mineral resources, and is a source of over 50 minerals, including oil, coal, iron, copper , lead, zinc, gold and petroleum. The province is advanced in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing . Conditions for developing agricultural production are favourable. It is one of China's main cotton-producing areas.
