Positioning the Text in 3D


In the next few steps, you'll set up the position each text layer will assume after it flies in through 3D space from behind the user:

1.

Select all the text layers in the Timeline, turn on their 3D switches in the Switches column, and then press P on your keyboard to display their Position properties.

2.

With all the layers still selected, change their X Position values to 360 and their Z values to 0.0.

3.

Deselect the layers. Click the Y Position value for the each layer, and enter the following value listed for that layer. Press Tab (to go forward) and Shift+Tab (to go backward) to navigate through the Position values in a layer and to the next layer's values:

EXPOSITION: 380

ELECTRONIC: 320

WORLD: 260

CYBER: 200
