Acknowledgements

Writing the acknowledgements for a book is a joy, not only because of the opportunity to thank those whose input helped bring the project to fruition, but also because it means the book is finally done! Given the hectic travel schedules we had during the writing of this book, we are somewhat amazed it made it to press at all. Certainly, that feat would not have been accomplished without the gentle but persistent prodding from our stellar editorial and development team at Peachpit, especially Corbin Collins, Simmy Cover, and Becky Morgan, whose attention to graphic detail and fine crafting of the English language gave polish to these pages.

But there are plenty of people at Adobe we want to thank as well. First and foremost, we'd like to give a standing ovation to the entire GoLive engineering team for consistently developing innovative and amazing new tools in GoLive. But more importantly, thank you for quickly and thoroughly answering our technical questions about those tools during our writing process. You cleared up many foggy moments for us as we worked with early betas and no help files. Special thanks to Jens C. Neffe for being accessible at pretty much all hours of the day and night, and to Mark Erickson for input on the GoLive SDK.

Grazie mille to members of the GoLive Product and Marketing teams: Whitney McCleary, George Arriola, and Devin Fernandez, for their support and dedication. Big thanks to Terry White, Technical Resources Manager at Adobe (in other words, our boss) for cutting us some slack when we had too much to do in too little time. Thank you to Jeffery Warnock of Adobe Press who helped initiate the project with the first edition of this book. Thanks also to the third-party GoLive developers who gave us assistance and access to their software during our testing.

Both authors would like to thank their spouses for not pulling the plug during our late-night writing sessions. We're grateful you put up with us and we promise to stay off the computer after midnight for at least two weeks. Finally, Lynn would like to thank Adam, and Adam would like to thank Lynn. It's always great fun working together.
