Hundreds of third-party actions and extensions are available for GoLive. Actions are pre-built JavaScript functions that add powerful interactivity to your Web site with the ease of point and click, meaning you don't have to know how to program or understand source code to add great features to your Web sites. Verifying forms data entry and creating interactive slide shows are two examples of what third-party actions can add to your Web sites.

Extensions are different from actions in that they add features, such as new menus and palettes, to the GoLive authoring environment. GoLive comes with a few extensions to get you started, and many more are available at Adobe's Action Exchange at http://share.studio.adobe.com.
