Oracle Database 10 Grid The TRCSESS utility is new to Oracle Database 10g and can be used to amalgamate information from multiple trace files into a single output file, based on grouping criteria such as a session or a database, amongst other things. This utility is useful in a number of ways such as in a shared server environment, merging information about one specific session from multiple trace files.
