Summary

As with XML, the .NET settings system is one of those internal, behind-the-scenes, don't-let-the-boss-know features that makes your program great to use, but without all of the whiz-bang showing-off stuff. Personally, I found it a little hard to part with my precious INI files and all of their simplicity. But the automation attached to the new settings system makes the migration painless.
