export a dv file

Sometimes you'll want to produce a file you can import into another program, say another DVD authoring program that may offer features that Premiere Elements doesn't. In these instances, the best alternative is to export an AVI file in DV format, which is the highest possible quality file that Premiere Elements can produce. When exporting a DV file, you have to work through several windows of encoding parameters to ensure proper output. We'll start with the general parameters, and work through Video, Keyframe and Rendering, and Audio.

To start, click File > Export > Movie.
